Fish Recipe

FISH AND BACON HOT-POT

6 ozs. boned, smoked fillets.

2 ozs. bacon.

1 oz. margarine.

6 ozs. tomatoes.

Grease the bottom of an oven dish. Cut the fish in neat vJ portions for serving and place in dish. Sprinkle with pepper and dot with margarine.

Add a tablespoonful of water, then the sliced tomatoes (peeled), and lastly the bacon.

Cover dish and cook in a moderate oven for 20 minutes.

Remove lid and allow bacon to brown and crisp. This is sufficient for 2 persons.
