Recipe for Apple Apricot Crumble Recipe

Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can apple slices, drained

1 (17 oz.) can apricot halves in light syrup, drained

2 tbsp. sugar

1 tbsp. all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon CRUST:

1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar

3 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted

1 c. Grape Nuts cereal

1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Method

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Generously grease 9"x13"x2" baking pan.

In large bowl, mix flour, sugar and butter until it resembles crumbs.

Pat half of crumb mixture into baking dish.

Cover with fruit filling and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Sprinkle other half of crumb mixture over top.

Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
